My DennisBear and Pattern

For the pictured bear I used Red Heart Fiesta, Wheat, for main color and Redheart tan,for contrasting color of yarn and a size G hook
You may use whatever yarn or thread you choose, but you will have to
Change hook size to fit size of yarn.

Materials needed
3-4 oz of yarn or thread Main color
1 oz contrasting color
Crochet hook size G or appropriate size
Buttons for eyes
DMC thread for nose and details on feet and paws.
Fiberfill stuffing
Head and Body
Rnd 1: (Starting at top of head) Ch 2. (6 sc) in second ch from hook. Do not join. Place stitch marker. 6 sc
Rnd 2: (2 sc) in each sc . 12 sc.
Rnd 3: * Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 18 sc.
Rnd 4: * Sc in each of next 2 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 24 sc.
Rnd 5: * Sc in each of next 3 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 30 sc.
Rnd 6: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 7: * Sc in each of next 4 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 36 sc.
Rnd 8: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 9: * Sc in each of next 5 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 42 sc.
Rnds 10-15: Sc in each sc around.Rnd 16: * Sc in each of next 5 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc.. Rep from * 5 times more. 36 sc.
Rnd 17: * Sc in each of next 4 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 30 sc.
Rnd 18: * Sc in each of next 3 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 24 sc
.Rnd 19: * Sc in each of next 2 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 18 sc.Stuff head firmly.
Rnd 20: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 21: (2 sc) in each sc . 36 sc.
Rnd 22: * Sc in each of next 5 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 42 sc.
Rnd 23: * Sc in each of next 6 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 48 sc.
Rnds 24-38: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 39: * Sc in each of next 6 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 42 sc.
Rnd 40: * Sc in each of next 5 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 36 sc.
Rnd 41: * Sc in each of next 4 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 30 sc.
Rnd 42: * Sc in each of next 3 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 24 sc.
Rnd 43: * Sc in each of next 2 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 18 sc.Stuff body firmly.
Rnd 44: * Sc in next sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. 12 sc.
Rnd 45: Decrease around. Sl st in next sc. Fasten off leaving a long end for sewing.With yarn needle, weave yarn end through the top loops of sc on the final Rnd.

Leg (Make 2)
Rnd 1:With contrasting color Ch 11. (3 sc) in second ch from hook. Sc in each of next 8 ch. (3 sc) in last ch. sc across the opposite side of chain, 8 ch. Do not join. Place stitch marker. 22 sc.
Rnd 2: (2 sc) in first sc . Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 8 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 8 sc. 26 sc.
Rnd 3: Sc in first sc . (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 10 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 9 sc. 30 sc.
Rnd 4: Sc in each of next 2 sc . (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 12 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 10 sc. 34 sc. Next round change to main color.
Rnd 5: Sc in each of next 20 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 11 sc. 36 sc.
Rnd 6: Sc in each of next 21 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 12 sc. 38 sc.
Rnd 7: Sc in each of next 22 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 13 sc. 40 sc.
Rnd 8: Sc in each of next 2 sc. Decrease 3 times. Sc in each of next 32 sc. 37 sc.
Rnd 9: Sc in each of next 2 sc. Decrease 2 times. Sc in each of next 31 sc. 35 sc.
Rnd 10: Sc in each of next 2 sc. Decrease 1 time. Sc in each of next 13 sc. Decrease 2 times. Sc in next sc. Decrease 2 times. Sc in next 9 sc. 30 sc.
Rnd 11: Sc in next sc. Decrease 2 times. Sc in each of next 12 sc. Decrease 2 times. Sc in each of next 9 sc. 26 sc.
Rnd 12: Sc in next sc. Decrease 1 time. Sc in each of next 12 sc. Decrease 1 time. Sc in each of next 9 sc. 24 sc.
Rnds 13 - 22: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 23: * Sc in each of next 2 sc. Decrease 1 sc in next 2 sc. Rep from * 5 times more. Sl st in next sc.
Fasten off leaving a long end for sewing. Stuff legs firmly and sew to body with yarn needle.
Arm
(Make 2)Rnd 1: Ch 5. (3 sc) in second ch from hook. Sc in two loops of each of next 2 ch. (3 sc) in last ch. Working in unworked lps of ch, sc across the opposite side of next 2 ch. Do not join. Place stitch marker. 10 sc.
Rnd 2: (2 sc) in first sc of previous round. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 2 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 2 sc. 14 sc.
Rnd 3: Sc in first sc of previous round. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 4 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 3 sc. 18 sc.
Rnd 4: Sc in each of next 2 sc of previous round. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 6 sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in next sc. (2 sc) in next sc. Sc in each of next 4 sc. 22 sc.
Rnds 5 - 20: Sc in each sc around. At the end of Rnd 20, sl st in next sc. Fasten off leaving a long end for sewing.Stuff arms and sew opening closed. sew arms to body.
Muzzel
With contrasting color yarnRepeat rounds 1-7 of head. On 8th round decrease 1 sc every 5 sc.
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing on.
Stuff and sew on head using photo as a guide.Make nose and mouth as pictured with DMC thread
Sew buttons on as in photo for eyes.
Hat
With contrasting color yarn
Repeat rounds 1-9 of head pattern.
Rows 10-17: sc around slip st in 1st st of last rnd ch 3 turn.
Row 18: * Skip first sc, dc in next sc, dc in skipped sc, repeat from * around. Sl st to beginning of round and fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Ears
Chain 2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Ch 1 turn.
2 sc in first sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc.
Fasten off. Leave tail for sewing.
You have 2 options here. You can sew the ears to the head or sew them to the hat. I have done both and they both look cute.With DMC create paw lines
