local Fashion Show

My daughter and her hubby and kids came to visit me the other day so I had the chance to give Mia Bella the pink tutu I had made for her. She has started taking ballet class so I thought she'd love a tutu.

Well she totally and I mean totally ignored the tutu. Coley on the other hand, had fun with it.

Then a day or so later I got a call from Tina. She just finished up a photo shoot with Mia Bella and her tutu. Tina said Mia Bella had the tutu on for days!!! Check out the model. She is having a total ball.

You surely can't tell by the photos but Mia Bella is very shy, even here she is shy. But boy does she get bold when the camera is on her. Love her!! ANd Coley, he isn't shy at all and he is soooo cute. Love him!!!

ohhh look playing with the lions.

What is Coley doing? Looks like he's found something.

Pretty Mia Bella and Giraffes

My 2 youngest grandkids went to the zoo with their Mom and Dad. You can see from these photos that they're having lots of fun exploring.

New Doggy

Here is the new girl puppy that hubby brought home today. Isn't she cute???? she's 3months old. now we have to give her a name.

I haven't been doing much here lately, no knitting and just a few clay and silver items. I'm really trying to get my shoulder better. So therapist said no puter no too much of anything for a few more days, just rest it and do the exercises giving to me.

shoot just broke a fingernail. dang hate when that happens cuz I cut them all down to the size of the broken one. poop.

here are a few photos of the new silver items and clay items I've done this past 2 weeks.

Rayo and his new toy

We bought Rayo a new toy yesterday. When he saw it he got soooo happy. Here he is receiving the toy.

Rayo is showing his new toy around the place. Gotta show it his fave place to sit on the sofa.

Here the toy gets to see Rayo's little bed and cover. Lucky toy.

Isn't this the cutest thing? Rayo is 2 1/2 yrs and weighs 4.6 lbs.

should of taken a photo

of my home grown huge zucchini. But the biggest one I cut up for use in our dinner last night. It was yummy. I made some pork and onion, tomatoes and zucchini. It's called calavecita's con puerco in spanish. very yummy.
We have some chili peppers and jalapenos growing and bellpeppers and tomatoes. Tomatoes are green but there .

Tweaking the meds and Mia Bella and Coley

So here I am, not lost in the woods at all, just wandering around trying to find a good spot to stop and picnic. hahahhaah

Went to the new doc, got all my meds tweaked and upped and now am waiting to see if this works for me or not.

Of course with a new doc comes lots more tests to see where the body is at. I've got a fasting blood test coming up and a mamogram and paptest, which I know is way over due. Also have physical therapy scheduled for my shoulder and diabetes group and oh yeah xrays of my replaced knee. It's not working right any more either. Also got new meds for pain control. HOpe I find a level that works ok for me.

For right now I've not really done anything needle wise except a cloth for a group I'm in. Just making a few silver pendants and charms to sell in my etsy shop. I sold 2 items last week. One in etsy and one in my artfire shop. And am still ordering materials for my pendants even tho I'm not making the $$ to pay for it. Just like yarn. Always wanting more even thou I have a boat load of it. lol

Hubby and 2 gkids outside in pool, finally got it filled up and the floater in and all is well with them.

I did finally get up to see my grandaughter and gson yesterday. Mia's birthday was July 2 and I gave her gifts to her yesterday , almost 3 weeks later. I swear I better get feeling better so I can start taking myself places. shoot.

words

I have got a few good words from you all so far. Of course I loved the k2tog that Jane suggested. I've already put that on a disc.
Also have the word waiting on one.
It could mean so many things. Like waiting to have your baby, or waiting for the right person to come along, or waiting to win the lottery, or waiting to hear your fave song on the radio. Waiting for it to rain or snow or waiting for the flowers to start sprouting. See it could mean lots of things.
So now give me some more very meaningful words please!!

A Question for you

So I'm in the process of making some silver hand stamped discs for jewelry. My question is:

What word or words would you like to have on a disc? I want to make a few to put in my shop but need to put something on them that anyone would buy. I can also make personalized stuff but this is samples for my shop and I would like someone to buy them hopefully. Below are a few examples of what I'm talking about. Please leave a comment with what you'd like if you were shopping for jewelry.

Mia and her bike

Here is the birthday girl on her new bike. She just loves it I'm told.

and here is Coley with his pacifier and his bottle.

and here is Cole looking as cute as can be.

Happy 4th Birthday Mia Bella !!!!

Happy Happy 4th Birthday Mia Bella. Mema and Pa love you very much. We are so proud of you for passing all your swim lessons and for being such a bright and smart and beautiful young girl. We hope you have a fun day today.

great day for the pool

Yesterday was a great day for the kids to play in the pool. Here is a photo of, from left to right,

Nicky, Sammy, Alex, Angelia, Javie and Olivia in front. Cool photo of the cousins!!

Just mailed out Turtle's Prize

This is just a heads up to Turtle. Your prize is in the mail. I hope you enjoy it!!

Rayo checks out the pool

We finally got some plants going on the patio. Just a few tomatoes and the like. And the kids and Rayo got to enjoy the new pool for a bit. Pa has gone to get a cover for the pool as we put it under our only tree. That was the only place we had to put the darn pool but it worked out pretty good. Of course I'll never get to use the pool. HOw in the heck would I get in and out? And it's only half filled with water cuz Pa forget to get the chemicals needed for the water. Hope he remembers that while he checks out covers for it.

NOw can't wait for it really to be hot enough to go for a dunk.
