Traveling Blanket #1 Crochet

I received the traveling crochet blanket from Jane yesterday. On the Whoduknit group we are doing I think 4 traveling blankets. 2 crochet and 2 knit. I signed up to contribute to 1 of each.

I am almost done with this one. I will be able to get it in the mail on Monday and will be sending it to Anita!! I should be receiving the knit one soon and I know it's gonna take me probably the full 2 weeks that I'll have to get my part done. ON the knit one I have agreed to be the finisher and sender to the charity group that has been chosen for it.

I love doing charity stuff. I am thankful that I can still give a little to someone needing a little comfort.

Here is the little rabbit I made last night with a couple of easter eggs. and the yummy yarn that I won from the Whoduknit prize locker. It is 100gr of 100% wool from Vigdis Marie Design. CAn't wait to work with it.

Dogs and Frogs

Here is my latest stitch markers. 2 different sets of dashunds markers. And a few frogs. These frogs are bigger and are just to sit around looking froggy. Nate has ordered two of the frogs but I don't know which 2 he wants.

Info on my knitting groups contest

On my knit group, My Knitting Circle, on yahoo groups, I have just started a Name the dinosaur contest. This dino I made cuz my son in law Dade challenged me to make one with teeth. So I did. But he needs a name. From now to March 6th my group members can post a name and later I will send all the names to Dade and Tina and the kids and they will chose the one they like the best. Ferret stitch markers

A friend of mine asked me to custom make her some ferret stitch markers. So I did. And she loves them. I even made a few extra. Here are some photos The white ones are for Vicky.

So I had a nice day on Valentine's day. Hubby worked so I cooked and made some fixings for tostada's and baked an upsidedown pineapple cake. Everything was delish and hubby appreciated my efforts. Love him!!

Here was some of what kept me entertained while my food was cooking.

And all those little dots in the pot are over 200 baby fish.

I waited for Tina and Coley to come by but he was too sick. They were at Kaiser getting him checked out cuz he has another ear infection and a high fever poor baby boy. Poor Tina and Dade. and Mia Bella too. lol
