Rayo and his new toy

We bought Rayo a new toy yesterday. When he saw it he got soooo happy. Here he is receiving the toy.

of my home grown huge zucchini. But the biggest one I cut up for use in our dinner last night. It was yummy. I made some pork and onion, tomatoes and zucchini. It's called calavecita's con puerco in spanish. very yummy.
We have some chili peppers and jalapenos growing and bellpeppers and tomatoes. Tomatoes are green but there .

Tweaking the meds and Mia Bella and Coley

So here I am, not lost in the woods at all, just wandering around trying to find a good spot to stop and picnic. hahahhaah

Went to the new doc, got all my meds tweaked and upped and now am waiting to see if this works for me or not.

Of course with a new doc comes lots more tests to see where the body is at. I've got a fasting blood test coming up and a mamogram and paptest, which I know is way over due. Also have physical therapy scheduled for my shoulder and diabetes group and oh yeah xrays of my replaced knee. It's not working right any more either. Also got new meds for pain control. HOpe I find a level that works ok for me.

For right now I've not really done anything needle wise except a cloth for a group I'm in. Just making a few silver pendants and charms to sell in my etsy shop. I sold 2 items last week. One in etsy and one in my artfire shop. And am still ordering materials for my pendants even tho I'm not making the $$ to pay for it. Just like yarn. Always wanting more even thou I have a boat load of it. lol

Hubby and 2 gkids outside in pool, finally got it filled up and the floater in and all is well with them.

I did finally get up to see my grandaughter and gson yesterday. Mia's birthday was July 2 and I gave her gifts to her yesterday , almost 3 weeks later. I swear I better get feeling better so I can start taking myself places. shoot.

I have got a few good words from you all so far. Of course I loved the k2tog that Jane suggested. I've already put that on a disc.
Also have the word waiting on one.
It could mean so many things. Like waiting to have your baby, or waiting for the right person to come along, or waiting to win the lottery, or waiting to hear your fave song on the radio. Waiting for it to rain or snow or waiting for the flowers to start sprouting. See it could mean lots of things.
So now give me some more very meaningful words please!!

A Question for you

So I'm in the process of making some silver hand stamped discs for jewelry. My question is:

What word or words would you like to have on a disc? I want to make a few to put in my shop but need to put something on them that anyone would buy. I can also make personalized stuff but this is samples for my shop and I would like someone to buy them hopefully. Below are a few examples of what I'm talking about. Please leave a comment with what you'd like if you were shopping for jewelry.

Rayo checks out the pool

We finally got some plants going on the patio. Just a few tomatoes and the like. And the kids and Rayo got to enjoy the new pool for a bit. Pa has gone to get a cover for the pool as we put it under our only tree. That was the only place we had to put the darn pool but it worked out pretty good. Of course I'll never get to use the pool. HOw in the heck would I get in and out? And it's only half filled with water cuz Pa forget to get the chemicals needed for the water. Hope he remembers that while he checks out covers for it.

NOw can't wait for it really to be hot enough to go for a dunk.

Monica graduates 8th grade!!

What? No way. Yep way, Monica graduated yesterday from the 8th grade and in Sept will be going to Hogan High School.

Tomorrow is Javie's 7th Birthday!!!

But we're celebrating today. This is what his parents and me and hubby chipped in to buy him. Think it's called a tornado razor or something silly like that. He loves it. when he stops on it, it twirls round and round like a tornado. So much fun.

Will post more photos later on today after the little party we have for him. Just hot dogs, chips and cake and ice cream.

Silly Dogs

My daughter and family in Napa owns a yellow English lab (as in dog) and he plays in the backyard as well as in the house. Across the fence in the back there lives another dog. These two dogs will dig dig dig until there is a hole big enough to squirm thru. Here look at this:

yep that is the dog from back neighbor peeking thru the hole that they have dug. My daughter is so smart. She went over and got the dog to come and have a "play date" with her's. She said that Zeek and the other dog had so much fun. At least now she knows that they are friendly with one another. So when they dig another hole today and are in the same yard while her and Dade are at work, she knows they won't fight but play and have fun.

This is so funny to me. Dogs having play dates. I'd take my dog over there for a play date but I'm afraid that Zeek would think we were just bringing him lunch!!

Here is a recent photo of Cole and Mia Bella playing with their cat. poor kitty kat!! HIs name is Tsavo and he is a very patient cat.
But just look at the happy smiles on the kids' faces. They love to torment no I mean tease the cat. lol

Happy Birthday Vickie!!

Today is my sister's birthday. She came to visit me for a while and I got to enjoy chatting with her. She is super crafty so we always have a lot to talk about. I made her a glass tile necklace with a pretty butterfly on it and gave her 8 fat quarters of fabric. She loves fabric.!! well I do to but she actually uses most of hers while I just accumulate it like I do yarn.

Vickie, don't the butterflies look like the ones Brenda got you for your bd? I think they do.
