Jaives 5th pd
What do you think about this great tank??
Anyway I just love this one. We got it with everything even 4 fish!! We bought 10 more fish to make the tank more lively. We have Gouramis and swordtails and well mostly gouramis. Even some little pink ones that will grow bigger and not be so pink I guess, called kissing gouramis.
Can you tell I don't know much about fish???? lol bet I'm gonna learn a lot now.
Our dog Rayo is not impress with them at all..
new carpet, are we finally done???
We finally got new carpet installed in the house last week. HOpefully that is the last thing that needs to be done that is a big job. I know the bathroom needs a little touch up and the bedrooms need some paint touch up but think that's it.
I love my house. It is mostly neat and pretty and almost the way I want it.
We did just get a new fish tank on Friday and we are rearranging the living room to make it fit in.
We had to remove my entertainment center which houses most of the yarn that I have been working with this last year. It is sitting on the porch right now and hubby has given the center away. I wanted to keep it but he has overridden me this time. shoot.

Happy May a first communion and baby blanket

Today my oldest granddaughter, Monica, is having her first communion. This is a preview of her in her dress. She is 12 and becoming a beautiful young lady!!
Wow, it's been a super long time since I posted. Hopefully my life is going back to normal and I can keep up with this blog a lot better.
Right now I am knitting a baby blanket for my grandbaby due in Oct. I am doing the KKB Blanket pattern found here:
http://wishingiwasknitting.blogspot.com/2007_03_03_archive.html
I'm using redheart baby sport in yellow and a size 10 1/2 circular bamboo needle.
This is a super easy pattern so I can do it while watching tv.
I have some yarn in the color linen coming in soon and I wanted to use this pattern to make myself an afghan for the livingroom but I wanted to see how it worked up first and I needed a blankie for the new coming baby. 2 birds with one stone so to speak.

Heart to Knit cloth
I finished this cloth yesterday I think or the day before. It is the first thing in a while that I have finished. Hopefully this will end my long stretch of not knitting. Can't explain it except just can't get to all my yarns that I need to have right next to me at all times or I will have a fit.
Since we have started the little kitchen project that has turned into a 3 month long monster project all, well most, of my yarn has been sitting nicely in place but with boxes of stuff stacked in front of it plus my new rocking chair recliner. I am so tired of this already. Someone give me a stick of dynomite and a match please. I need to clear a way to my petting yarns........

magic loop
Well my darling little dog got hold of my magic loop with the 2 socks on it, well not actually socks cuz there were only 2 rows done on it, but I digress. He tangled up those 2 balls of yarn so bad that I spent over 2 hours working to untangle them and so far I have gotten zilch. think they are even more tangled than before. I should have known better than to leave my work on my nightstand. Rayo dog can climb on the bed now and help himself to anything he fancies on there. Like my remote to the house alarm or my rings or earrings or my wip (work in progress).
Oh and a member of my Patt's Knitting Circle group sent me the book on magic loops so now I can start all over and actually know what to do as opposed to what I did was just start with a bit of info and try to wing it. Thanks so much to Vicky C.
